Tottenham vs Everton: How to watch, TV channel, kick-off time and live stream details

Following their shock FA Cup exit to Middlesbrough last week, Antonio Conte has yet to instil a winning consistency to his Tottenham Hotspur side.

Josh Coburn’s extra-time strike was enough to secure a famous win for Chris Wilder’s side, but heaped more misery on to the Lilywhites as their wait for a domestic trophy continues.

And whilst silverware has been completely taken off the table this season, the chances of them reaching the top four have not, with obtaining Champions League football a real possibility for next season.

But Spurs need to make their games in hand count. With Wolves, West Ham and Manchester United all losing over the weekend, they have the opportunity to close the gap having played three games less than those three sides.

However, North London rivals Arsenal currently sit in pole position to claim that all important fourth place following their 3-2 victory over Watford, with the Gunners playing some exciting attacking football at Vicarage Road.

An up turn in form is needed. Now suffering four defeats from their last six in all competitions – as well as each of their last two in the Premier League on home soil – Spurs fans are growing both frustrated and fearful, with many wondering what the future holds for Conte if he is not backed in the summer transfer market.

For Everton, the three points also hold as much significance as it would for Spurs, but for completely opposite reasons. The Toffee’s currently sit one point above the relegation zone, but have games in hand on the teams around them.

Progression to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup provided some diversion away from their dismal league form, but Frank Lampard’s attention has quickly turned to another must win clash in North London this evening.

Team news:

Tottenham: Tottenham will be boosted by the returns of Rodrigo Bentancur and Lucas Moura from injury for Monday’s game, with both men potentially set to come straight back into the starting XI. However, Oliver Skipp, (groin) and Japhet Tanganga (knee) remain sidelined for the hosts.

Bentancur looks likely to come back in for Harry Winks in midfield, while Lucas’s return could tempt Conte into shifting Dejan Kulusevski into a wing-back role ahead of Matt Doherty and Emerson Royal.

Everton: Tom Davies, Fabian Delph, Yerry Mina, Ben Godfrey and the ill Demari Gray will all miss out the trip to North London, but Lampard was optimistic that both Andre Gomes and Dominic Calvert-Lewin could play some part for his side on Monday evening.

Donny Van de Beek and Anwar El Ghazi are expected to return after missing out their victory over Boreham Wood due to ineligibility, with former Spurs man Dele Alli also expected to come back into the starting XI to face his former club.
