Here is your Arsenal morning digest for Friday, June 18.

Turkish giants open talks to sign Kolasinac

Sead Kolasinac is being touted for a move to Turkish Super Lig giants, Trabzonspor.

According to Turkish daily Takvim, via Inside Futbol, the club have opened negotiations to acquire the left-back’s services.

Kolasinac has just one more year remaining on his contract with Arsenal and considering he spent the latter part of last season on loan at Schalke, it seems as though he is surplus to requirements at the Emirates.

Arsenal make £45m decision on Ben White

Arsenal are preparing to return with a fresh offer for Brighton’s Ben White after having an initial bid of £40m for the Brighton defender rejected, football.london understands.

It is thought that Brighton are looking to secure around £50m for White, although Arsenal are hopeful of finding a compromise, with their second bid likely to be around the £45m mark.

And they could be encouraged by reports that White is looking for a house in London.

Arsenal told how much they must pay to complete James Maddison transfer

Arsenal are considering a move for Leicester midfielder James Maddison as they look to bolster their creative midfield area, football.london understands.

A source close to Maddison told football.london that the 24-year-old is ‘at the top of the list’ for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The major sticking point for Arsenal however, is Leicester’s demands of more than £60million for the former Norwich City and Coventry City midfielder.

Chelsea are also reportedly interested in signing him should they sell Hakim Ziyech.
