We simulated Arsenal vs West Ham on FIFA 22 to get a Premier League score prediction

After back-to-back defeats in the Premier League, Arsenal picked up their first win in December after beating a struggling Southampton side 3-0 at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta was forced to leave club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang out of the matchday squad against Southampton, after Aubameyang had broken club protocol.

Following the 32-year-old’s omission on Saturday, the club have taken the decision to strip Aubameyang of his captaincy, with Arsenal now having released a statement, where they also confirmed Aubameyang will not be considered for selection for their clash with the Hammers on Wednesday.

After an impressive display against Southampton, Alexandre Lacazette is expected to start as the Gunners‘ focal point in attack for a third consecutive match.

So, what line-up will Arteta select? And, what could the final score be?

We used FIFA 22 to get a score prediction for Arsenal v West Ham on Wednesday and this is what happened…

West Ham continued to threaten after the break, as Ramsdale was forced into making a number of a brilliant saves to keep the score level at 0-0.

Arsenal won a penalty in the 72nd minute as Bukayo Saka was tripped in the box by Arthur Masuaku, but Lacazette was unable to convert it to make it 1-0 as the French striker hit the crossbar.

Later on, however, Saka drifted into space behind Masuaku and fired the ball past Fabianski to put Arteta’s side 1-0, after Odegaard found the 20-year-old with a clever through ball.

FIFA 22 predicts that Arsenal will narrowly beat West Ham after Saka’s piece of quality and clinical finish was enough to see off the Hammers.

Both sides would strike the woodwork multiple times in the game, but it was Arteta’s side that would have the edge and take all three points in a huge clash with both sides chasing European football qualification.
