West Ham have added a trip to Dens Park to take on Dundee as part of their pre-season plans ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
The Hammers will take on the Scottish Premiership side on July 9 at 1pm as part of their rigorous pre-season schedule to prepare David Moyes’ team for the upcoming campaign.
The match against Dundee will be the first of five friendlies the club currently have lined up and the trip to Dens Park will come as part of West Ham’s training camp in Scotland.
Last season began the same way for West Ham with Moyes taking the squad to his native Scotland for a pre-season training camp and the Scot is lining up similar preparations in the hope of repeating the Hammers fabulous 2020/21 campaign.
The Scotland training camp will take place in St Andrew’s for five days with the match at Dens Park scheduled to conclude the tour.
In line with current Scottish Government coronavirus regulations no away fans will be permitted to attend the game and at present Dundee will be able to invite guests with restrictions in place to limit social contact.
Following the match against Dundee, West Ham will return to London to continue their preparations for the new season.
The Hammers will split the squad in two for the next pre-season friendly, with two sides taking on Leyton Orient and Northampton Town simultaneously.
