What happened between Kieran Tierney and Aaron Ramsdale on Instagram after mini Arsenal argument

Arsenal have had their fair share of bromances down the years and another may be emerging.

From Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Carl Jenkinson to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, there is always at least one close bond within the Gunners’ first-team squad.

Now it could be the turn of Kieran Tierney and Aaron Ramsdale to stake their claim as the best Arsenal bromance of all time.

The pair haven’t even been teammates for a full season yet – with the latter only joining in a £24m deal from Sheffield United last month – but they’ve already had a mini argument which could be the building blocks for a long-term friendship.

The incident in question occurred in the second half of Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon as both players were fighting their case on who should have dealt with a ball into the box.

It was nothing more than a healthy argument between Tierney and Ramsdale, something that was refreshing to see for many Gunners supporters.

And the incident was quickly forgotten about after the pair helped Arsenal record back-to-back clean sheets for the first time in the Premier League this season.

As spotted by fans on Reddit, there was a nice exchange between Tierney and Ramsdale on Instagram which has prompted the theory that a bromance between them is beginning to form.

Reacting to the 1-0 win, the Scotland international had a message for the Arsenal supporters who had made the trip to Turf Moor.

“Left everything out there,” he wrote. “What an away support. Thank you very much.”

To which, as seen in the image above, led to Ramsdale and Tierney enjoying a hilarious back and forth on the social media platform.

Such was the wholesome nature of this exchange that Tierney and Ramsdale’s popularity amongst some members of the Arsenal fan base appears to have gone up a notch.
