When does the 2021/22 Premier League season start? Fixture announcement and transfer dates

The 2020/21 Premier League season has been an unusual one, to say the least.

The season promised to be one of the most competitive in recent memory with nine different sides – including Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur – topping the league at different times this campaign.

However, Manchester City were crowned champions after putting together an outstanding run which saw them win 21 straight games in all competitions between December and March.

Fulham, West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United were then decided as the three teams to be relegated from the top-flight in a season that has sorely missed fans inside stadiums.
