British No. 1 Norrie and third seed Ruud in action

The opening day’s play at Wimbledon has resumed at 1:09 p.m. local time on Monday in London following an interruption due to rain.

After delay of one hour, 29 minutes, British No. 1 Cameron Norrie resumes his first-round clash against Pablo Andujar leading 6-0, 0-1. Halle champion Hubert Hurkacz and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina restart at 3-3 in the opening set, while third seed Casper Ruud and Albert Ramos-Vinolas return to court on serve in the first set, with the Norwegian leading 3-2.

Centre Court and Court 1 at the All England Lawn Tennis Club are both fitted with a roof, meaning their schedules will commence as planned regardless of the weather. Top seed Novak Djokovic takes on Soonwoo Kwon on Centre Court at 1:30 p.m local time, with two-time champion Andy Murray in action later on against James Duckworth. On Court 1, play starts at 1:00 p.m. local time, with Carlos Alcaraz facing Jan-Lennard Struff in the second match on.
