World Cup qualifying in CONCACAF is entering its final stages, and the race for a spot in North America across all three groups couldn’t be any tighter.

The three groups of four teams will send their winners directly to next year’s expanded World Cup, while the two best second-place finishers earn a spot in FIFA’s inter-confederation play-offs next March. Here’s how each group stands heading into the final matchday:
Group A
Suriname and Panama are level on nine points, with Guatemala and El Salvador already eliminated. Suriname currently hold top spot thanks to a +3 advantage in goal difference and will look to at least match Panama’s result against El Salvador. If both teams finish level on points and goal difference, total goals scored will serve as the next tiebreaker.
Group B
Group B is more straightforward: Curaçao and Jamaica meet on Tuesday in a winner-takes-all clash for first place. The Blue Stars lead by one point, meaning a draw would send them to their first World Cup. The Reggae Boyz must take all three points to finish top.
Group C
Group C is the tightest of the lot, with Honduras, Haiti, and Costa Rica all still in contention. Honduras travel to Costa Rica, while Haiti host Nicaragua. Honduras will qualify if they beat Costa Rica and maintain a better goal difference than Haiti. Los Ticos need a victory to have any chance of overtaking both Honduras and Haiti. Les Grenadiers, meanwhile, can reach the World Cup if they better Honduras’ result.
