With options in the wide areas looking thin for Mikel Arteta at Arsenal, one man who could provide a bucket load of goals is Noa Lang.

If you take the recent blossoming of fans’ favourite Bakayo Saka out of the equation, how many wingers have lived up to expectations since Mikel Arteta’s arrival?

Although there have been a handful of decent performances, besides Saka bursting onto the season, a regular source of goals from out wide has been lacking for the Gunners in recent seasons.

One man who has been linked who could help add goals is Club Brugge’s tricky wide man Lang.

Several reports in the past year have suggested Arsenal, alongside AC Milan are interested in the 22-year-old. Having been involved in just under 30 goals last season (17 goals and 11 assists), the left winger would almost certainly provide attacking threat and goal contributions wherever he ends up.

Lang’s current side Club Brugge are, however, keen to keep him until the end of the season but reports in Holland have suggested he is ready to take the next step in his career.

Voetbal 24 report that he has made a major decision to consider a move, not only to kick on and improve by playing for a bigger club, but also to put himself in contention for Holland’s national team ahead of the World Cup next year.

This has reportedly put Arsenal and AC Milan on transfer alert ahead of the January window, with both clubs among the potential suitors for the winger.

It would be a surprise if Club Brugge refused to sell the winger, but of course, it must be for the right price. He’s attacking, loves to take players on and is more than capable of weighing in with a goal or two so Arsenal must provide the right price if they wanted him.

The 22-year-old is a player with a big future ahead of him and according to transfermarkt, is currently valued at around £22.5million.
