Mohamed Salah has officially moved into seventh place on the Premier League’s all-time goalscorers list after scoring his 176th career goal, edging past Thierry Henry’s tally of 175.
In Liverpool’s dominant 4-1 victory against Ipswich Town on Saturday, Salah netted his 19th Premier League goal of the 2024/25 season, the highest of any player so far this campaign. This goal also marked a personal achievement, surpassing his total from the previous season, where he scored 18 goals in 32 appearances.
Salah now stands just one goal behind Chelsea’s Frank Lampard, who holds 177 Premier League goals.
The 32-year-old joined Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017, and since then, he has been instrumental in the club’s successes, including winning the 2020 Premier League title, the 2019 UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Super Cup. Despite his current contract running through June 2025, Salah has confirmed he will depart Liverpool at the season’s end.
